Luston Group Parish is very widespread community occupying a combined total area of 2,247 hectares.
The area is mainly farmed, mostly arable with some dairy cows and many sheep.
The 2001 census stated that the population of the Group Parish was 817 with 348 households.
The population density varies considerably with Eye Moreton & Ashton Parish at 0.17 per ha., Eyton at 0.24 per ha and Luston at 0.77 per ha. (Average = 0.36)
